Although we try to make the picture sizes on our website as accurate as possible, we always recommend waiting until you receive your print before arranging any framing. Please do not give the sizes on our website to your framer, instead arrange for them to measure the print when it arrives.
All dimensions are given in centimetres.
The first set of dimensions shown on the product page are those of the image, excluding any border or frame. Overall dimensions for framed works are given as a second set of measurements.
(a) Unframed Paper Prints
Paper prints are supplied with a 4cm border on all sides.
(b) Unframed Canvas Prints
Canvas prints are supplied with a minimum of 4.5cm coloured border (colour selected to suit the artwork) plus a further 0.5cm plain border (i.e. 5cm in total).
All canvas prints are protected with 2 coats of Museum quality satin varnish.
Where the option for stretched canvas is selected 38mm wooden stretcher bars are used.
(c) Framed Artworks
The overall sizes given for framed artworks are the external dimensions of the frame, thus being the total of the image size plus mount size plus frame with.
2. Materials & Inks Used for Prints
We use award winning Museum archival quality Fine Art papers and canvas.
The archival quality ink prevents fading for up to 75 to 200 years.
The Museum quality varnish used on canvas prints is UV rated to 85 years.
